Being new to githubs work environment, I tried to search out some easy, first-timers only issues. I explored the idea of tackling a more complicated issue but felt that I would be better served interacting with git & github doing something easy to start off.
I have two issues in mind so far:
Both come from a project called OpenEMR. An open source electronic health records management solution. The issues listed involve removing inline styling and the deletion of old, unused code.
I spent a little too much time searching for the “perfect” issue for myself. At weeks end I have little to no work to show but have learned quite a bit more about searching and learning about different project issues. I found myself consistently using these three resources:
Now that I have finally settled on a project with two different issues I believe I can handle, I look forward to actually contributing to an open source project on github.
